dg-fullshot-1Jackson joined Dodson Gregory in March of 2016. He assists in all aspects of the firm’s civil litigation practice. Prior to joining Dodson Gregory, Jackson was an attorney and Clark-Clemon Fellow with the Jefferson County Public Defender’s Office. During his fellowship, Jackson gained invaluable litigation experience representing hundreds of indigent criminal defendants in Alabama State Courts.

Jackson attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, Jackson was a member of the National Trial Team, and was one of four team members who won the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles, California. Jackson was also named to the Dean’s List, was a director on the Executive Trial Advocacy Board, and was a 2014 recipient of the Nat Bryan American Board of Trial Advocates Award. During his time in law school, Jackson was also enrolled in a joint degree program where he earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Brock School of Business at Samford University. Prior to attending law school, Jackson graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration.

Jackson is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Jackson is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association, where he is a member of the Young Lawyers Section, and the Birmingham Bar Association, where he serves on the Membership Committee and is a member of the Young Lawyers Section. Jackson is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, where he serves on the Membership Recruitment and Social Committees.

Jackson and his wife Tiffany have two dogs, a black lab named “Gus” and an English setter named “Rooster.” When he is not in the office, Jackson loves to hunt, spend time outdoors, and follow the Alabama Crimson Tide.
